The Heart of Parenting: A Foundations Workshop

The Heart of Parenting is an interactive workshop designed for any parent, at any stage in their journey, who is looking to raise their child in a way that honors the Lord and points him/her to Jesus.

With scripture as our foundation, we will explore how our relationship with the Lord and with our own parents influences and motivates how we parent. We will discuss different parenting styles, personalities, and emotional development; and we will spend a lot of time on parenting with intention.

The intention of this workshop is that the parents leave feeling better equipped, empowered, and encouraged in their parenting journey.

Audrey Celzo

Audrey was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Abilene Christian University in Texas and her Master’s degree in counseling from Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee.

Audrey has more than 5 years working as a trauma-focused therapist with foster children and families. She served as a children’s church director for 4 years, and has provided relationship and parent coaching for 7 years. Her passion is supporting and coaching parents as they navigate the challenges of raising children, strengthening family relationships, and creating healthy home environments. She is particularly passionate about helping families pursue a Christ-centered, Scripture-based approach to parenting and family life.

Audrey and her husband, Larry, have a blended family of seven. She is actively involved in her community through serving children and families at her church, and she has coached youth basketball for more than five years. Audrey enjoys reading, traveling, sports, and spending time with her family.

Workshop Cost:

This is a donation-based workshop, with a requested minimum donation of $20*.

All funds go towards the continued offering of equipping events and environments to help people grow in their relationship with God, their understanding of who they are, and their faithful fulfillment of their place in the Body of Christ.
